4.15. How can I have height and width measurements show automatically when doing vehicle graphics?

When doing vehicle graphics, I want to have the size of the doors I am lettering to automatically show up in the height and width fields on the vinyl signs screen. How do I do it?

From the vinyl signs screen, (accessed by clicking new estimate>add item>vinyl signs) click the book icon to the right of the substrate dropdown box.

1. Then click the new button to add a new substrate.
2. In the description field type in the description of what you will be lettering and its associated height and width. For example, 'Truck doors 24x36'.
3. Ignore the supplier box since the customer will supply the truck doors. :)
4. Choose the measurement you will be using, inches, feet or yards, by adjusting the radio buttons accordingly.
5. Since this is a customer supplied substrate, leave the cost at $0.00 and the markup at 100%
6. Click the checkbox that says 'automatically enter height and width information on estimates'.
7. Click the green checkmark when done.
8. Click the green checkmark on the edit materials page to return to the vinyl signs screen.
9. From the substrate drop down box select the new substrate you just created. The dimensions will now automatically display in the height and width fields.
