1.31. Production time and digital printing?

Where does EstiMate get its production time figure in digital printing? My production time seems too high, and I haven't adjusted any of the defaults.

The production time calculation comes directly from the number of passes you have selected for the foil. For example if you are doing a CMYK or Process color job and have the number of passes set to 4 you may see a production time of 11:30 or other figure that may seem arbitrarily large. Changing the passes from 4 to 3 will make a marked difference in the production time figure shown.
It is important to remember the production time shown is not meant to be an assessment of how quickly EstiMate believes your shop can do the job, but rather the maximum amount of time that your printer has to print the desired number of pieces before you start cutting into your profits.
