There are 3 common scenarios.
1. The convention in EstiMate since its creation is to archive or delete the job after it is completed. If you are using the QuickBooks link however your best bet is to run the export transactions to QuickBooks feature first before archiving.
2. Export and delete. Some users who are using the QuickBooks link also will simply export finished jobs to QuickBooks and then delete them from EstiMate.
3. Mark the finished jobs as "Completed". Version 1.91 and later gave users the ability to mark a record as "completed", hence you can see at a glance what jobs have been completed and those still in progress. The downside of leaving finished jobs sitting in the open list is it can become overly full and slow to load.
Conclusion:
Unless you are using the QuickBooks link or have some other reason for leaving the jobs sit in the open list we recommend you either archive or delete the record at your option, for best performance.
