1.61. Why change the number of passes on the digital printing screen?

Why change the number of passes on the digital printing screen if you
have already set them in the foils database?

A: Remember that the goal of EstiMate is to make pricing as flexible as
possible. Thus the ability to change the number of passes in either
location. One application for changing the amount of passes right on the
digital printing screen would be spot colors. If you were doing a digital
print with red and green spot colors that normally have a default number of
passes as 1 in the foils database, you could select spot colors from the
drop down list and then change the number of passes to 2 in order to allow
for the extra spot color.
