2.9. EstiMate and Sales Tax?

In my area I have to adjust how much sales tax is charged based on where the sale takes place. That is to say, my shop is just outside the city limits, so any sale here is taxed only by the state and the county. Whereas if I install a sign in the city limits, then I am obligated to charge the city sales tax as well. And, of course, if the sale is to an out of state customer, no tax is charged. And while
we're on the subject, how do I show sales to gov't entities, Non-profits, and so on?

Currently EstiMate supports only one sales tax. Each individual line item has the option to be taxed or untaxed, so in the case of a no-tax sale, simply turn off the taxed option for each line item (this can be done directly on the pricing screen).

As far as sales to governments and non-profits, simply follow the directions above, and if there is a discount to apply you can simply choose it from the discount list.
